morning call mini webinar by neam: planning your content to instagram

once or twice a month we host a morning call by neam, a free mini webinar for entrepreneurs to inspire, and boost their social media marketing! essentials needed to join our morning call: a cup of coffee! ☕️ (if you’re anything like us, this is a must!)

on our last morning call we talked about the benefits of planning ahead for your instagram marketing, especially when it comes to creating content. if you're looking to grow your audience and nurture organic engagement with your followers, then having a strategy in place will help ensure that your posts are timely and relevant—and that they have the best chance of success on the platform.

we gathered 5 tips on how to efficiently plan and create content:

1) neam planning tool

set aside time for you to plan—book it from your calendar. get the ideas flowing, and write them all down. think about important dates for your business (holidays? launches? sales? events?) and think about pre-marketing ideas. neam planning tool is a customisable planning sheet, where you can write all your dates & ideas for content on their designated dates and platforms.

2) meta business scheduling tool

after your ideas it’s time to start creating, remember to reserve time for this! videos, images, information, logos, canva templates—make sure you have access to them. (for videos that still need to be filmed: make sure to book time for this before scheduling!)

3) let your brand values shine through your posts

instagram is already full of content, and the essential key is to attract YOUR audience in. generic messages won’t work, you need to have a bit of an edge to differentiate yourself from others. everything for everyone won’t simply help your business. think about your brand values, what are the things that are important to your business? your target audience most likely share the same values, and care about the same things that matter to your business—so let those values shine through! keep this in mind every time you create your content, and write your copy.

4) content pillars: let’s add value!

if you’re struggling to come up with ideas for content, or even if you have lots of ideas for it—it’s important to write down your content pillars. teaching something new, inspiring users, building trust & selling your product or service are pillars that we recommend adding to your planning tool (and sprinkle them around to keep it interesting!) the goal is; every post you make adds value. something that provokes interest in your audience: “wow, this i didn’t know—let me share this on my story”, “this is inspiring, let me save this for later”. with the value you’re giving for free, you gain new followers, broaden your network and build brand awareness & sell your services that fix problems!

5) experimenting with your content—create themes

let’s face it: we want people to follow us. not just any people (i mean it looks great when you have lots of followers), but followers that—if not yet—we can convert into paying customers! there are quite a few things that you need to focus to when converting a user into a follower, but wouldn’t it be great that when after seeing a few posts from you, they’d think “there’s a good buzz on this page, and i could binge their content”. so let’s create that buzz! create series with part x, y & z - always something to look for on your page. create your own type “thursday tips” that suit your business. find fun ways to involve your network & audience in creation of your service or product. use your account to socialize (i mean it is called social media) and have a conversation!

planning ahead for instagram marketing can help you create more relevant, engaging posts that will reach more interested buyers.
